On Sunday 28th February 2016, I will be partaking in a 7.5km run as part of Alzheimer’s Australia’s attempt to raise awareness for dementia and Alzheimer’s. Dementia is the single greatest cause of disability for Australians over 65 years old, with 1 in 4 people affected by it. Younger people can be diagnosed with it as well. There is currently no cure, and little is known as to what causes some people to develop dementia. If you would like to donate to this cause, please hit the link below.
