The Will of the Wisp is available to buy now! At long last, after three and a bit years it is on the shelves – out there for everyone to see. I can honestly say I feel a lot of closure in its release; in a true ‘sophomore slump’ sort of situation, I wondered whether the novel would ever see the light of day. After Tenebrae Manor was completed in late 2013, the question begged as to my ability to produce another novel (at least in a personal sense for myself).
It was an awkward beast – The Will of the Wisp is half the length of Tenebrae Manor, yet it took twice as long to write! Make of that what you will; I was perhaps too hard on myself with it, thinking that I didn’t like it enough to bother publish it. It was only after I went back and read through that first draft manuscript that I was able to appreciate it properly. I can say now that I like the work, I think it’s a good book, and I hope that my readers will enjoy this new offering.
Anyway, enough maudlin blathering. The Will of the Wisp is available on Amazon now. Paperback copies are just $10 USD, those with Kindle can get an ebook version for $3 USD. A big congratulations to the five readers who won a paperback copy in my Goodreads giveaway – your winnings have been posted and should reach you shortly.
To any and all who read The Will of the Wisp – I do hope you enjoy it, and let it be known I appreciate feedback and reviews. Amazon and Goodreads both offer platforms to rate and review books, so I would highly suggest jumping on one of them (or both!) and sharing your thoughts on the book – be they good or bad! It helps me spread the word on my work, and also helps me hone my craft for future endeavours.
